Q: What to do if my sisters in laws are torturing her

My sister is getting tortured mentally and once physically too by her husband and her mother in law. Since her marriage 2 years ago, mother in law keeps asking for so many expensive gifts and money on different occasion. Also, they ask her to get up @4am daily and do all household chores without any maid etc. They don't keep maid for a huge house. They keep quarrel with my sister and her husband does not support her. He just listen to his mother. My dad has cancer and my mom did suicide few months back due to this pressure of cancer and torture of inlaws to my sister. They sent my sister to our home forcibly and kept her phone too. We are hindu.

You can file complaint before the CAW cell against the husband and his family members and also Domestic violence case against them where u can get residential rights as well as maintenance and protection from them.

Q: What to do if my boyfriend blackmails me

My boyfriend / fiance after we got engaged. He and his parents have demanded a luxury car and a grand wedding obviously to show her relatives. When we denied then he said that he cannot face rejection and denial, so will reveal all my pictures shared by me to everyone which are not supposed to show. As we were together from last 9 years obviously we shared a strong connection. He Said directly to father that will make an account and publise everything over there. So many things needs to discuss about this case. Somebody help. He and his father are threatening everyone in my family. My father is not keeping well. Now that guy wants 10lac for hiding all this. Its been a month he is abusing everyone here. I apologise him for no mistake but now he want revenge. He can force me to marry. I just want to move on in my life.

You can approach the police station near you and filed written complaint against them for threatened you and for the demand of dowry.If you have any voice recording or any video recording or chat them attached it with complaint and police official recovered your picture and protect you....no one can forced you get marriage. Don’t worry

Q: Mental & physical harrassment by in laws & husband does not bother

Hi I am married for around three years and I've a 6 months Daugher. My in laws don't behave in appropriate manner with me since beginning and I constantly hear on petty issues. Once my father in law tried to hit me and my brother in law and father in law has yelled at me many times. My husband does not want to listen what happened. If I try to speak to him about the incedents, he threatens to hurt himself/ leave everybody but didn't want to listen. He is ready to divorce me but is not ready to live separately, Though I assured that we will still take care of his parents and will meet them regularly. Our residence would have been in same society/ nearby society. He says I can stay with him only if his parents stay with us, to which I refused as my brother in law yells at me/ misbehaves with my daughter in their presence but they don't come to our rescue, rather if I raise my voice, they try to stop me. What legal options do I have

You can file Domestic violence as well as CAW cell complaint case against them and you will get the protection from the court and you can not forced him to leave Their parents because they have the equal right on their son as like you.

Q: Quashing of 498A FIR in High court after charge sheet has been filed

Hi 498a fir was lodged against me and now IO has filed chargesheet in the court without arrest I am having a strong evidence to prove myself innocent can i go for quashing the chargesheet in high court

Yes you can approach for the quashing of the FIR before the high court as contested and if there is any settlement between the parties than also you both the parties can file the quashing for the quashing of the FIR.

Q: Requirement of aadhar card to file a petition for divorce

I want to know that mujhe mutual understanding me div. File krna hai but aadhar card ya voter I'd card kuch nhi hai pan card hai jispr mere father ka name hai WO nhi chal jayega kya or waise mere pas shadi ka card b hai or photographs b hai shadi ki to aadhar ki koi jrurt to nhi pdegi

Yes it is depending on the district court where you have to file the mutual divorce petition and it is mandatory to file one of your id proof for filing divorce petition. And after new direction aadhar card is mandatory for filing any case.
