Q: vehicle accident by buyer without transffering the vehicle on his name

i sold my car before covid, buyer took my sign on RTO transfer documents but did not transffered it on his name, he made a accident, now he called me and told me a a court case is going on and my name also included in the case as vehicle owner although i did not recived any court notice but he said i also will be called or may be arrested, what should i do

Go and appear before the court of law and submit your documents for your defense. It is however the liability of the owner to get the vehicle transferred, but firstly it is important to see what the case is actually.

Q: Mothers name issue in her vs our documents

Thing is like my mothers name in her documents is assume abc Mehta. But me and in my brothers documents it’s xyz Mehta. Now whenever we go for verification of anything they read mothers name is abc Mehta in her docs and in our docs it’s xyz Mehta or xyz and because of this we are facing difficulties. Now we want her name to be xyz Mehta so that we don’t need to change in our documents as they’re a lot.

First of all in which documents you need to change your mother’s name, if it is in something where a decree from the court is required, you need to file a suit for declaration in the court and it will be done

Q: Challan sent to court for disposal

I have received a message today morning saying - My challan has been sent to court for disposal as per law. I had tried paying the challan but it shows error that my mobile number is not linked even though it is linked. What needs to be done now from my side?

Send me the challan details on my number and thereafter i will file the application for disposing off the challan in the court. The challan needs to be submitted by the traffic police officials in the court and then the court decided the amount of challan to be deposited

I'm Madhu Khosla from Ambala city. I'm old widow senior citizen. My elder son living separately with his family in my house. On27 April 2025 shifting my luggage on first floor he loaded my all&all important documents in his room, because the door was opened of his room. Now on the 17th June 2025,this matter came in my knowledge after receiving the phone call for KYC.When i found missing all documents, i asked my eld.son,he replied i don't know. Its unfortunate that you had to face such situations. however, you should definitely avail your legal remedies and one of them is firstly you should file a complaint under DV act so that your inlaws cannot dispossess you from you home and you may have a place to reside
