Q: 5Cr Damage Suit against Google Gemini AI for generating Fake UTR/GST

I'm Nand Kishore, owner of All India Lubricants. Google Gemini AI generated fake UTR IDs & GSTIN on my prompts, encouraging financial forgery. MeitY (Grievance MINIT/E/2026/0003041) closed it without technical audit. This flaw put my business reputation & legal safety at 5Cr risk.1.Can I sue Google for 5Cr under Consumer Protection Act/IT Act?2.Is this 'Deficiency in Service' or 'Criminal Abetment'?3.How to file a suit in Delhi HC for Punitive Damages?I have all screenshots.

Advocate Garima Sharma answered
Hi. While there isn’t a specific AI law in India yet, you can still take action under existing laws.Depending on the facts- yes, you could file a complaint under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 for deficiency in service or misleading information; or bring a civil claim for damages (negligence/misrepresentation), especially if the loss directly resulted from relying on the Gemini AI output, which seems to be your case.Having said that, a quick review of the terms of use and how the loss occurred would help in deciding the best way forward.

Q: Order delivered but no installation

Purchased 2 ACs from an online platform which delivered on 7 April. Installation pending. Technician visited but refused citing 4th floor issue and left. bot platform and brand are shifting responsibility. Now asked to arrange self-installation from the customer care of online platform. Also receiving calls from unknown numbers (privacy concern). Return window closing without installation. Need advice

Advocate Garima Sharma answered
This appears to be a clear case under consumer law involving deficiency in service. You may consider initiating appropriate legal action by issuing a formal legal notice to the concerned party, setting out your claims.

Q: illegal construction on third floor terrace

ours is a dda flat (ground +3 storey), third floor owner has demarcated the water tank area and has put a wall to separate it from the rest of the terrace and locked the terrace separately. is it allowed, and whether any construction on third floor terrace is permissible , who has the ownership right of the terrace? thanks

Advocate Garima Sharma answered
This appears to be an unwarranted intrusion into your neighbour’s affairs, potentially amounting to trespass. Based on the facts and surrounding circumstances, you appear to have a valid and sustainable legal case here.

Q: COMPROMISE DEED TO BE MADE PRE FIR FILING

We wanted to have settlement deed before filing an FIR in criminal case. I wanted to know that the injury comes in minor or major category and settlement deed is possible or not

Advocate Garima Sharma answered
Settlement deed is possible if it is done before lodging of the FIR. Once FIR is lodged, you'll have to go for quashing before the HC on the grounds of Settlement. This is just a prima facie response based on the information provided by you and is subject to further information, if any.
