Q: Regarding my husband who is harassing me abusing me depressed me
Hii I am mausam from New Delhi I was staying with my husband and my 6year old child my husband was harassing me abusing me beating me and my child also but some how I manage to skip from there but now he is harassing me through msg and Ph and I am jobless now he is threatening me that I will ruined you and I will also not give you any expenses and maintenance charge for you and your child so please kindly help me what I will do now

You can file a complaint in the Crime Against Women Cell (CAW Cell), which is then registered as an FIR if your husband does not settle in front of the CAW Cell authorities. This is treated as a criminal offence. Also you can file Domestic Violence petition against your husband and/or any in-laws who have also abused you in any way in the court.If you do not want to pursue any criminal cases as i just mentioned above and only want to get expenses (maintenance u/s 125 CrPC) for yourself and your child, you can file a petition for maintenance which is filed before the family court. It can be filed regardless of whether you are staying with your husband or away from him.
