Hi, We are into interior business. We do turnkey projects. one of our customer is not ready to pay for the additional works done on the site. we have provided her the primary estimate for the works involved. also we have shared the additional work list ( without costing ) while executing the project. I want to buy a property in Bangalore but the seller is in Dubai and they have given GPA to her father who is residing in Bangalore. Can u please advise how to take this forward. Is it safe to purchase the property from GPA holder.
Advocate Dhanisha Giri answered
The documents will have to be seen in detail to check the validity and safety of the agreement.however, a valid registered GPA can be verified through past documentation and once this is done it may be safe to go forward.you can also contact the owner to verify details. if it is a valid and verified GPA, property can be transferred.

All legal heirs can be vendors and remaining can be confirming parties. but it is recommended that you do not exclude any children as it may cause problems later. Also ensure that the sale deed reflects all the necessary recitals including the cancellation deed and all parties sign every page.
