Hi,We are building Drooid, a social platform that uses Artificial Intelligence to curate, generate and distribute information.We collect information from various online sources and generate articles with the help of Artificial Intelligence. With the generated content, we use images from other sources, for example, a picture of Mr Nitin Gadkari for a political issue from the Times of India. We don't own the copyright of those images. Does it falls under fair usage, and what's the best practice?

I have decades rich experience in the field of copyright, so I am giving advice to you please don't use any image of political person or any other prominent personalities from the social print form without his permission otherwise is a violation of law.

Q: Distributor Can Receive Payment From Buyer In Own Bank Account

In corona pendamic period received from my buyer online payment in my own account and the same transfer in the saller account and direct invoice in the name buyer .Please suggested me the process of transaction is legal ?

Dear sir your question is not clear. Kindly rephrase your question so that we can assist you. However it seems that if you have received payment from your customer directly into your bank account which was required to have been directly received by the distributor then it's wrong and you should refund the amount to the buyer and ask him to directly deposit in to the distributor's account. Otherwise, you can also take an acknowledgement from the buyer that due to so and so reason he could not able to make payment to distributor's account and you directly received amount on behalf of the distributor.

Q: Registered address issue and business conduct area issue

Hello Sir,I have a query. I have civil suite filed in court against a startup company. The got companies court certified copies of MOA and AOA documents and used the registered address mentioned there to file the suit. However the company has asked for rejection of the plaint on the basis that their address mentioned in MCA master data is different. My question is, in case of registered office address discrepancy between MoA/AoA vs MCA master data, which address is considered valid.

Dear sir, in MOA only State in which the registered address will be situated is mentioned. However, the proper address with full disclosure is only mentioned in the Master Data or say Form INC-22 (earlier Form 18). The company is right in their contention that MCA Master Data is only valid for purpose of deciding jurisdiction in civil suit so better you check the Company's Master Data first then file a suit or withdraw the present suit and file with appropriate court.
