yes you may file that application. it is called a written statement, you may file it within the stipulated period ie., 30 days or on the next date of hearing. you may also file additional documents with evidentiary value.

What is the difference between quashing, dismissal and discharge of dv case ? What are the pros and cons of both ? Can they be done together ? Which is better with the intention of prolonging the case

Quashing of a FIR is done by the HC under its inherent powers. While, a dismissal & discharge are done by trial court/ DV court. Discharge or dismissal can only be done by the trial court after going through the merits of the case. while quashing can be pursued at any stage of the case (as it has to be applied parallelly in the High Court. Quashing is the time saving process, while Discharge or Dismissal is long processes.
Q: Query regarding matrimonial issue
Hi Sir,My husband filed for divorce case in Hyderabad and I filed a transfer petition in supreme court to get that case transferred to my hometown. As a part of this, we attended mediation and the matter got settled wherein we agreed on some amount of alimony and signed the agreement. Now after this, what process is followed by a lawyer for divorce through supreme court o that all cases pending before district courts should be quashed and divirce happens in SC. My lawyer is charging hefty fees

A divorce petition is filed before a district family court, SC do not have jurisdiction in your case.If, as u mentioned, you have reached to an amicable solution in mediation then you may directly apply for the divorce as per mutual consent. It is a simple & time saving process. you shall not face any hardship in getting a divorce decree. Rest depends upon the t&c's of the settlement/ MOU.
