Abhirath holds dual qualifications, enabling him to practise as a Solicitor in England and Wales and as an Advocate in India. He has worked in the disputes team of premier law firms where he has advised on complex high stake contentious disputes. Abhirath also has a acquired a Masters in Law i.e. LL.M. in International Commercial and Corporate Law, with a specialisation in International Commercial Arbitration, from Queen Mary University of London which gives him a nuanced understanding of the laws and their applicability. The LL.M. focused on complex international disputes and investigations and understanding of the interplay between different legal systems and regulations. During the LL.M., he was also selected for the role of a Student Legal Advisor at Qlegal, London (a pro-bono legal clinic run by Queen Mary) for providing free legal advice to start-ups and entrepreneurs on a range of complex legal issues.

Abhirath brings a significant level of experience in contentious matters concerning complex arbitration trials, interim applications, injunctions, appellate hearings, jurisdictional disputes and enforcement matters. He has been predominantly involved in high-risk dispute resolution in relation to myriad of matters and furthermore also advised top multinational corporations, banks and financial institutions on a wide range of complex disputes including contractual disputes, M&A disputes, insolvency, banking litigation, rights of minority shareholders, oppression & mismanagement, raising capital, construction disputes, property disputes including landlord and tenant disputes and money laundering.

Abhirath has been practicing and handling cases independently with a result oriented approach, both professionally and ethically and has now acquired many years of professional experience in providing legal consultancy and advisory services.
