01-Oct-2023 (In Property Law)
i purchased some agricultural land in 1982. I have got the registration done i.e 7/12 of the property in my name. Later on i got to know that the survey number mentioned in the title document is not correct and it is the survey number of the adjacent plot. how can i get this fixed ? the registrar's office have refused to fix this since it is time barred. can i move to the HC for this? please help

You should do rectifying sale deed or declaration suit for land which you purchased,
If possession of that land with you then you have better chance to win your case.
Revenue officer is duty bound to made entry as per the registered sale deed.

Dear Friend, you need not to go to HC for such small matter and you can Appeal against registrar's decision. You have to apply in Registrar's office and after they reject your order, you can Appeal before the Collector.
