How is the property divided is there is no Will?

If a father don't write any will about his property then what happens after if he has a daughter and a adopted son What happens if he write the will to his son without intimate to his daughter
The question you have addressed is too vague to answer as this would depend on the religion that you follow. If you are from a family of Hindu's then your father can will away all of his self acquired property as he wishes to. His heirs however will have a share in the ancestral property. If you are a family of Muslims then your father cannot will away more than 1/3 of his estate and each legal heir will have a fixed share in the property.
