18-Jul-2023 (In Property Law)
My grand mother as a property in her name, but she as 3 sisters and there grand children's are asking for the share from that property. From 1950 to till date we are looking after the property, but from 2 months the people are asking for the share. Can anyone please help us on this issue. Note - The property was gifted by her father in 1950, its registered in her name.

The grandchildren of your grandmothe's sister have no right on the property as she is the sole owner of the property. She was gifted the property in the year 1950 and since then she is the sole owner and has the right over the property and not the sisters or their grandchildren. only your grandmother's grandchildren have the right over her property as it would be ancestral property.
