Do i have to take permission from BMC to build a new construction

Own leased PROPERTY to develop our own house already there was a stable for domestic animal now wants to build a small house .so what are the permission required from local BMC so that it won't demolished and a legal house can be built.BMC said it has stop giving permission to build new construction for house development in Mumbai

You ought to take permission from the BMC.

Clarify whether the leased property is owned by BMC or whom. any development to be undertaken requires a pre requisite permission from the BMC compulsorily anything done without the prior approval or permisssion of BMC shall be treated as illegal construction.
