04-Nov-2023 (In Property Law)
Ours is a love marriage and we married against the girls family. Few properties are in my wifes name which we dont need. For transferring the property do my wife need to be go to her native (South India) to tranfer her property. I am worried that they will harm her if she goes to her native. Please advise. Thanks
If the property is in your wife's name, she can transfer the property by a GENERAL OR SPECIFIC POWER OF ATTORNEY.
Since you have expressed that the property is in South India, we can professionally help her out in this matter.
Her presence here, we will see later after perusing the documents, like, title deeds etc and subject to a oral discussion.
