If FIR is filed is there any way of taking the case back

hello sir, my bike dont have inssurancei accidentally hit a woman crossing the road with my bike..... And they lodged fir against me and the woman now got leg fracture and discharged from hospital and considering am student they demanded ₹30000 to cancel the case.... I agreed to them and approached police and explained the same they said there is a procedure to close this case and said submitted the chargesheet in court and didn't tell the further procedure and I too don't know the entire procedure from now can you please tell me.... What are the steps that are going to be there on further process to close the case

You will have to amicably settle the matter with the opposite party. to quash the FIR you need to move a quashing petition under section 482 Cr. PC before the Hon'ble Court for quashing the FIR. this is the 2 ways through which you can get the FIR quashed.

Since the charge sheet is filed, the case has to go to court for trial.
However the judge might be lenient and may fine you a small amount for not having insurance.
nothing to worry. Hire a lawyer and close the case.
