SECTION 376E IPC - Indian Penal Code - Punishment for repeat offenders [1]

Whoever has been previously convicted of an offence punishable under section 376 or section 376A or section 376D and is subsequently convicted of an offence punishable under any of the said sections shall be punished with imprisonment for life which shall mean imprisonment for the remainder of that person’s natural life, or with death.

IPC 376E in Simple Words

According to section 376E of the Indian Penal Code, a person previously convicted of certain sexual offenses (section 376, 376A, or 376D) and later convicted of another offense under these sections can be punished with either life imprisonment (imprisonment for the rest of their life) or death penalty.
