Can I file defamation case against my husband for defaming me

I want to file a case of Maanhani as my husband has theft my password or hacked my ID & taken a print out of any chatting with my frnd...now he is defaming my character by showing it in other way & he has filed the same in the court as well in his defence as our other case 498a, DV etc. Is going on.. So I want to know that if i file the case of Maanhani on him for the same by depositing the copy of that chaating which he has filed in the court.... What would be happen....?? Plz cnfrm me the procedure for the same & do he have to submit more proof n have to prove it.....?? Can I file it
