Person cheated me on matrimonial site and took money and left

I had registered last year with bharat matrimony. A person so as called XYZ ABC contacted me and after few months he asked me to transfer money using various emotional sentimental cause. I helped him on trust basis. After few months he disappeared without returning my money. I wanted to get hold of him and i registered myself again with a new name and identity and that person contacted me with the name DEF ABC. we are exchanging messaGES ON whatsapp and he is still active on the matrimonial site. What should i do now to get him punished and get my money back.
