my boy friend cheated me on promise of marriage

Hi, I was in relationship with a guy. He promised that he will marry me and he loves me truly but now he is telling that he got married to girl because of his family compulsion. But when I found it out he was in relationship with me and that girl in same time. He cheated me and married that girl. Can I file a case on him or not if I file a case,under what section I should file. It may look foolish for the one who read this message. But if you take this issue as a serious part. You will find more truth and fake true of him. Please help me.
my first question to you would be did you have any physical relationship with him. if yes then the law is very strict and in favour of the girl in such matters. you can file a complaint against the boy in the nearest police station and an FIR shall be lodged against him. the act done by him falls under section 375 IPC
