Fight in college complaint filed against us

A senior batch with around 40 students were trying to fight with us with weapons in their hand like plates and ladel. As they were trying to fight us incidently one of the senior student got hurt in his head and started bleeding. He immediately went to police and complained a file against us. We have a video proof that they were trying to fight with weapons in their hand but nobody is listening to us. It has been 26hrs since the incident and we have been to the police station but we havent talked to the police yet. And they are saying that we have to go to court. So sir plz advice us
If what you are telling is true, then tell the police that you want to give a counter complaint against your senior/s. Tell that you acted in self defence and his injury is accidental. You can ask the Lawreto to find a nearby advocate immediately to defend you there.

Hi, Police would have filed an FIR ( most probably u/s 307,120B ... etc) based on the statement by the senior student who got injured. On whomever FIR (after preliminary investigation) was logged they could be arrested and produced to court. So, You may need to take anticipatory bail, if the students no yet arrested. Or you need to apply regular bail, In case if the students are arrested.
