Can I take any action against recovery agents for harassing

I have a credit card due of 400 rupee. bank recovery agents are harassing me by calling from different numbers and mentally harassing. can I take any action against the these recovery agents
If you agree that there is a due of Rs. 400 in your credit card payment then legally you are bound to and liable to pay that. Incase if there is any service defaults or deficiency in service and based on that you are disputing to pay the balance then you have a case and you may approach the concerned District Consumer Forum. Otherwise it's advisable to better to pay the due amount that too when it is meager amount of Rs. 400/- by that you can bring down all such nuisance calls to an end.

Yes sure it's illegal supreme Court guidelines are there it strictly restrict the harsh recovery. Therefore it's advisable to make Police complaint against it. So complain Police and if continue file complaint case.

harassing through phone and personally by the recovery agents has been found illegal by the Supreme Court in ICICI Judgement. You can lodge an FIR against the recovery agents as well as officials of the bank whom they are representing for criminal intimidation etc.

Hi, the normal recovery is the work of the agents. But they can't harass you by any means. You are required to file suitable cases against the individuals who are harassing you. The better advice can be given on personal meeting with you.
