Hello,
If you have worked for at least 6 months (continuously) at this establishment, you would be entitled to a notice of at least one month or salary in lieu thereof prior to your termination. Therefore, you may draw the attention of your employer to Section 39 of the Karnataka Shops and Commercial Establishments Act 1961 and call upon the employer to comply with its obligations thereunder.

If the startup company is shut down without any prior notice and if you are paid salary for the last month and if you have company assets, you can send a notice to them asking for your salary and at the same time letting them know you have the company assets that they should get picked up from you

Ans: You can send them a legal notice for recovery of the amount.
