Promised placement no placement yet what action can I take

When am enter in to college that time they said, we provide placement. So they said we have to pay half fee now, after providing job we have to pay another half. But they didn't provide any placements. After completion of MBA we applied for certificate but they are asking money for certificate. As per the conversation done with management whenever they provide us job then only we have to pay the remaining amount but they are asking to pay now or else they won’t give certificate. 30 students of my batch are facing same problem. Please help us..
You can file a case in consumer case against your college for not providing placements as promised at the beginning of the course.

you have any proof that the college will provide placements, they will say that you do not have talent and you could not get job, how you will believe that they will show the placements and they have given any paper that you have to pay half money after getting job. if like that you issue legal notice give complaint that the college has cheated.
