Person sold Bad quality car to us can legal action be taken?

22-Aug-2023 (In Consumer Court Law)
Sir we bought a second hand car from a unknown person in Kolkata on the reference of a lesser known friend. That seller has cheated me by selling me a scrap condition car for a very high price. Our life has turned hell since then. We're new in Kolkata and barely knew anybody. We have no money to overcome the repairs anymore as we have already spent so much for the same. We now have debits on our heads instead. Is there anyway we can go into some legal action.

You have not mentioned on which year the purchase of vehicle has been taken place and whether you have entered your name with the PVD in their records and the sale letter and transfer form has been duly received from your end or not , without having all the records it could not be possible to guide you any thing. Yes you have absolute right to claim under consumer protection act.
