No transit visa provided by travel company can I file consumer case

Hi, I was flying from India to Russia and had a transit through France . Before booking the ticket i had reached out to the tour company branch office and online customer care and asked about the need of a transit visa to France if needed but they had confirmed saying that i only need a visa to the destination country(Russia). But when i reached to airport on day of my journey i was not allowed to board my flight . When i complained to the company they did not take any action and just have been keeping me waiting . Can i lodge a complaint against this company
Its clear deficiency in service by the tour company. Definitely a Consumer case can be filed for the loss of money, loss of time, mental agony caused. If you have created correspondence with the tourist company then your case will become strong.

Dear client if travel company has promised u for arraning transit visa and had charged for same then u can charge them for deficiency of service. First send legal notice through lawyer and ask compensation for mental harassment. If company will not act per notice then file case in consumer court. For any legal help call me

yes you can lodge complain against travel agency as this is the failure in giving service. contact any local lawyer who is practicing mainly into consumer court and proceed further.
when you go to him take all document alongwith you connected to the travel. travel agent's details also and also names of owners of travel agency and executives who advised you so.
