Developer charging High Maintenance charges without Consent what to do

03-Apr-2023 (In Consumer Court Law)
Hi We are the residents of a Housing Society of a Developer wherein few Towers have received Completion Certificate and Others are Provided Possession without Completion Certificate: Initially the Developer has charged Maintenance expenses only from Towers with CC and waived the same for other Towers without CC but recently he has increased the Maintenance Charges heavily for all of us whether with CC or without CC and the same was without any discussion and consent of Residents. What to do for immediate relief as he is not at all bothered with Our requests The Maintenance is also looked after by the developer only

Sir, You can Send legal notice to the concerned Head office/ Branch office of Developers stating deficiency in service by charging maintenance charges arbitrarily . If you do not get reply within 15 days file consumer complaint against them.

Submit a proper reply/objection to the maintenance demand from and on behalf of all the residents. if the builder do not waive the demand for maintenance then immediately file a consumer complaint before appropriate consumer disputes/ grievance redressal forum/commission as the case may be.
