Can notice be sent after 2 years in consumer court after cheque bounce
23-Jun-2023 (In Consumer Court Law)
Can we send notice upto two years in consumer court after the cheque bounce.. As i know it is of 1 mnth in civil court is it true?
You can certainly send the notice even after 2 years, if you have valid reasons for the delay. However at the time of filing a consumer complaint, you need to explain the delay and get it condoned. On condoning of delay, your case will become a regular consumer case.

first of all you have to understand that negotiable instrument courts and consumer court both are differant things. you can file case for cheque bounce only at negotiable court in which thee is a period of one month is there as u said. but in consumer if you are cheated as a consumer then you can file a case not for cheque bounce.
