How to ask for more time from bank to settle home loan

I have a home loan with XX to be settled which is overdue since august 2015 and cannot pay anymore due to some reasons, how can i ask for more time period to pay it off?
It is going to be clearly securitisation matter. You must take opinion of advocate specialised in banking recovery matters. There are many ways you can choose by which process can be delayed, don't wait bank to take possession.
