Dear queriest,

A will can be made on any of paper. It need not be on a stamp paper.

You are free to many any number of amendments or revoke your previous will at your discretion and liberty.

The one of the essential requirements for a will be take effect is that it should be attested and made in front of atleast two witnesses.

A Will can be prepared on even ordinary paper. Stamp paper is not required. it would be better to get the Will registered. If you wish i can draft the Will for you on nominal professional fees. If you so desire, may contact me through this site.

Thank you for your question. Your requirements should be clearly stated in your will. Any ambiguity in the language of the deaf can lead to disputes later. Any amendment to the will (Codicil) can be executed at a later date but it is advisable that you provide for all the important terms in one document. You can allocate your assets in a manner that you wish. It is not mandatory to leave anything for any particular person for e.g your daughter in law.
