Can the beneficiary request a copy of the Will

22-Jan-2024 (In Wills / Trusts Law)
I have been named a beneficiary in a Will setup by my aunt that passed away in 2021. The Executor of the will just reached out to me to inform me of this news about me being a beneficiary. Do I have the right to request a copy of the Will to see the contents? and are they obligated to furnish me this copy? Thanks.

yes you can get a certified copy of the will also. it is advisable to get a probate of the will from the court.. accordingly thereafter get your share in the property under will. yes. certified copy of the will you can get it. there is absolutely no problem in that. thank you.
