TDS not submitted by employer and close to tax filing
10-Sep-2025 (In Tax Law)
My ex employer had financial crisis. Payslips showed that TDS was deducted from my salary between April 2024-June 2024. Just before the tax filing deadline (this week), my ex-employer has sent me a revised Form 16 and changed my salary slips to show that no TDS was deducted stating I’ve to pay tax now. Additionally, they still haven’t cleared my F&F ( withheld ampunt of 1.5 months. (Half of june and entire july) There is a mismatch in Form 16 and 26AS versus TIS/AIS.
