wife filed cased across two states(Andhra Pradhesh, Telangana)

Hi Sir/Madam,nMy wife filed 498a in Andhra Pradesh first, then after two months she filed another case DVC(including 7 family members) & Maintenance in another state.ncan I raise a request case to transfer DVC/maintenance also to Andhra because they have already created and the case is running to Andhra?nthe magistrate will immediately dismiss the case ? or will they send notice to the wifenPlease assist me with who really experienced here

You may file a petition for transfer of either case to one of the places. You may need to show reasons for your inconvenience to travel like job, kids, parents, etc. For deciding the transfer petition, notice will be sent to wife.

Hi. Yes, you have the remedy to file a Transfer Petition incase the matters are being heard in different States for consolidation. Depending on the outcome of the transfer petition the matter may be transferred from the magistrate and it does not get dismissed immediately. Notice will be sent to the wife to explain why the Transfer Petition should not be allowed. Kindly contact for further assistance.
