Is senior citizens mandatory to present in person By senior citizens while filling first time petitions/cases in High court /Supreme court (if needed) or advocates can handle the filling

In filing you don't have to be present. The advocate will handle it. The only thing is required is the age on the affidavit and the same has to marked in the check list that the case belongs to senior citizen so that it can be taken up in special category.

litigants are not required to appear either in High Courts or supreme court, unless so directed by such courts, and certainly not on the first date of hearing. unless in exceptional cases where the courts invoke contempt or other jurisdiction which requires personal presence, presence of lawyers alone is enough.
