registering a not for profit NGO in Mumbai

I have a friend who has her own Not for Profit NGO registered in USA. The NGO imparts skills to children between the age of 13 to 17 years. They have started their branches in few other countries. They wish to start their branch in India, to begin with in Mumbai and then in other parts of the country. Please inform on:n1) How can her Not for Profit NGO be registered in India as per the rules and regulations of India?n2) What would be the procedure for opening up a bank account in the name of the NGO?n3) What documents would be needed for (1) & (2)?n4) In future, how can the NGO register for section 80G, if needed?n5) What would be your professional fees for providing the above services?

Hi... As I understand that your friend want to start non profit organisation there will be several forms of doing so as per laws in India. First of all as section 8 company can be formed with the objectives as per their requirements. Or a charitable trust can be formed for the purposes of the trust programme.
