What if agency failed to deliver Dubai job with promised salary ?

My brother paid 2 Lakh INR to a Kerala agent for a Dubai job promised at 2000 AED + food & accommodation. Instead, he was offered 1300 AED with only accommodation and 200 AED/month deductions for Emirates ID, which weren’t disclosed earlier. The agent is pressuring him to accept the job and refusing to return the money. We have WhatsApp messages, audio proof, and bank statements, but the agreement lacks salary/amount details. What legal steps can we take?
your case is the nature of cheating. you can file a complaint before your jurisdictional police station. The police will take proper action against the agency. You can also file a civil suit to recover the amount you paid.
