Unsure about Settlement email sent by loan recovery company

Loan recovery company has sent an email to me stating that after i pay them the settlement amount, they will take 15 working days to issue No Dues Certificate. I was under impression that it gets done hand to hand

Loan provider take time to issue NOC. however, before making payment, make sure that they have given you a settlement letter. secondly try to make payment by dd or account transfer. thirdly, settlement letter should mention that they would withdraw cases, if any, filed by them against you.
