Unpaid Payment for Services Rendered (₹11,500)

31-May-2025 (In Recovery Law)
I worked on 30 reels for a client, charging ₹500 per reel. They posted 9 reels and paid me ₹3,500, with the agreement to pay the remaining balance later. Although we discussed this in person, I don’t have a formal contract, but I do have a chat where they acknowledge the payment and an invoice I sent for all 30 reels, which they confirmed as 'perfect.' Given this, what should I do?

If there's a mutual agreement with proof of payment terms and a breach occurs, you can send a formal notice to the defaulting party. This notice typically: 1. Specifies the breach (non-payment) 2. Demands payment of outstanding dues 3. Sets a deadline for payment 4. Outlines potential consequences for non-compliance
