Unable to pay credit card amount what can i do

Hi, I lost my job in Aug 2015. I am unable to pay my credit card payment. Still I am unemployed.Bank is taking legal action against the credit card amount. I am in a huge financial crisis and can't the amount until I get the job. Please suggest.
In this case I would like to suggest you one criminal case againSt bank which will inturn make some delays that you want plus I want to know how do you came to know that bank s taking legal action against you...any legal notice or something you had received?
