Travel agent committed fraud and not returning money

Dear sir,my i lived in kolkata .A travel agent fraud me with Rs.70000 and not return my money and now he is open a private limited company without returing my money what action can i take agains him or his company.
Dear Querist,
On the basis of information furnished by you, the following options are available to you.
1. File a suit for money in the concerned civil court having the jurisdiction of either your area or the area of cause of action and also simultaneously file a police complaint with regards to the same in order to invoke criminal action against the said Agent.
2. If the cause of action arose at the time, when such Agent has already incorporated & running the business as a company then you can also file a winding petition under the companies act. However, such proceeding for winding up is just a pressure tactic because you have to be in queue to get your money only after the secured creditors has recovered their dues, if any. Therefore, before proceeding for winding up you have to peruse the balance sheet of the company to ascertain its assets and liabilities.
