Transferred extra money by mistake to my ex rmployee

I paid extra money to my ex employee and then filed a complaint of "Misappropriation of fund and breach of trust". My ex employee is not responding to police calls for investigation. What police can do if for this non cognisable offence.

Since you have paid an extra money to an ex employee you have an option to file a suit for recovery before the concerned court having competent jurisdiction depending upon the pecuniary jurisdiction. This is not a criminal offence and is of civil nature case
