28-Aug-2023 (In Recovery Law)
I signed a contract without reading and the owner did not say anything about it the agreement is for 11 months but i need to vacate it beforehand due to some issues I’m giving him prior 1 month notice. Am I eligible to get my security deposit back or not?

If you have already given the month notice to the opposite party then you are fully eligible to get your security deposit amount. But first of all rather than going legally you should serve them a legal notice and in that notice you can write that either pay my money or face legal action which will be at your own risk. After that if he fails to give you a satisfactory reply then you can anytime file a recovery suit in the court to claim your money back along with compensations. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

Hello the terms and conditions are totally based on the contract which you have signed. of the contract have 1 month notice clause then you can go ahead with the process. Apart from this, the contract must be as per law, if not the same can be challenged. which may only be justifying after scrutiny

you are eligible for getting security deposit back but subject to certain conditions. landlord can deduct any unpaid rent an compensation for repairing any damage caused to the premises. after deducting amount if any he must pay you the balance amount. if deduction is disputed you can recover through legal means. should you have any questions please feel free to contact me

The law says the parties to terminate notice has to be giving of 15 days'. So yes none can force you to live in his flat. He must and is liable to return the security amount. For which you will have to send him legal notice failing which a recovery suit.
