Relative is not returning money which he guaranteed

One of my relative had asked me to do an investing in some scheme and I invested around 5.4 lacs and there was no guarantee for this money and he ad returned 2 lacs from this. But later he said that he wanted to invest more but he don’t have money and he asked to 20 lacs so I took loan and gave this money to Him which he said as guaranteed return but not he is not returning.
You can file a legal notice demanding repayment. If no response, you may file a recovery suit under the Civil Procedure Code. If fraud is involved, a criminal complaint for cheating under BNSS can also be lodged.
