Recovery of Rs.15 lakh(10 lakh by cheque+5 lakh by cash) given

15-Feb-2023 (In Recovery Law)
Being induced and assured by a peon of my office to get a 50 gaj plot @ Rs.30,000 per gaj against prevailing rate @Rs.40,000 per gaj, I gave Rs.15 lakh(10 lakh by cheque+5 lakh by cash) to him without agreement. The peon neither gave documents of the plot nor took me to the plot owner for GPA. When I requested him to return my money , he threatened to kill me. FIR under Section 420 @406 has been lodged by police. The peon hs been granted Bail by Delhi High Court, As I have no documentary evidence except bank cheques. How can I get back my money ?

If you got the the payment done by cheque then it’s a strong evidence against the culprit. You can file a recovery suit under civil of your total amount to recover your money. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

you can approach the court by filling a civil suit summary in nature ( a quick process compared to ordinary filling). at the same time you can also approach appointing authority for action against other party.
