Recovery of money from an acquintance, loaned by expired father

09-Sep-2024 (In Recovery Law)
My father has loaned about 12 lakhs over a period of 1 yeare, to an acquintance on the promise of higher interest. Now my father has expired. He did not explain us the amount lent, but we came to know about the loan through his diary writings. When asked money from the person, she quotes that my father has given her lesser amount. How can we proceed to get the entire loaned money from her?

Recovery of money suit can be filed. If there are strong evidences proofs and documents summary trial can also be opted which is a much hassle free process. Definetly the amount can be claimed. The entire loan amount can be claimed.
