Recovery Of 15 lakh Rupees From Someone

My dad had given 15 lakh money having 10 lakh through cheque and 5lakh by cash without any paper work as that person working at same office as mts who had pretended on allocating a plot in delhi.but now he did not return.A fir has been registered and one time bail was rejected but second time he got interim bail at delhi highcourt for one month now the bail hearing is extended twice.so what should I do and how to get money back as we have no loan agreement only cheque photocopy containg his name is present. Should we file civil suit ?can we contest case with cheque photocopy or not .Remaining 5lakh have no proof which was given through cash

Hi,
As per the limited information we cam send a legal notice to him asking for money thereby filing a civil suit for the same. We can show a friendly loan but the same should be present in the ITR as well. Lets discuss and take forever accordingly.

Yes a civil suit can be be filed. Your account statement showing the deposit in the persons bank may possibly act as additional evidence. Your right to file the Civil Suit is available.

However, the money paid in cash is difficult to prove and I will have to look at additional relevant information such as whatsapp chats and so on.
