Recovery agents have no legal authority to harass you or your family/friends by repeated calls. As per RBI guidelines, such acts amount to illegal intimidation. You should immediately send a written complaint to the concerned Bank/NBFC and Reserve Bank of India. If harassment continues, file a police complaint under IPC for criminal intimidation and also approach the District Consumer Forum for unfair trade practice. Strong legal notice can be issued to stop such calls and protect your rights.

hi if the recovery agents started to harass you continuously for the repayment of laons and creating trouble by calling family members then you could approach court in this regard and could obtain necessary relief and to follw the circulars of the Reserve bank
