Principal Money and interest not returned by relatives

I lend Rs 8,00,000/- to my maternal unlce son in law in 2017 by cash on interest of 2% per month. i.e. 16000/- per month, he paid interest regulary upto july 19, but after july he is not paid interest. i call him regulary but he is giving me only date by date but not the money. he gives me a signed blank cheque, but there is no money in his account, I also signed a printed promissory note. but there is no written stamp paper. I want my money back and i need a legal advice what should i do?

you stated that given the loan to your relative on intrest now he is not paying the money to you .if you have chaqu and the said cheque was allready bonus the you can file a case against them and also file a recovery suit on promissory note.

hello sir, I went through your query since you have a promissory note and other details regarding lending money to your relative you can issue a legal notice aginst him and later on h can file a case for recovery. this is one method and the other way is you can get the cheque bounced and issue a legal notice asking him to pay the remainder amount and file a case under section 138 of NI act.
