Outstanding dues from customer

07-Feb-2025 (In Recovery Law)
We have given the goods and filled out the GST for the goods sent. The customer has accepted GST credit and has not paid me the outstanding balance. He cooked up an imaginary story and sent me a notice of weird charges of which there is no proof. I wrote to him for my money but his advocate asked me to talk to him and answer his weird allegations of which there is no base. He pilled all this and is now asking for a Credit note and creating trouble by instigating oth in my field. kindly suggest

Hello sir In this case it’s better you approach the person through an advocate as well and raise your objections prior to the matter at all reaching court Need to also peruse all the documents, invoices and transactions in a proper manner and thoroughly to ensure nothing is against you

Well, We can serve that Customer of your's with a Legal Notice first justifying your claim. If things won't get resolved thereafter, then, we can lodge a Complaint against him before the concerned GST Commissioner and file a case too in court.

If you have received the Notice, the next legal step is to give a reply on the same, if you know whatever the allegations he has raise is untrue and incorrect thn you need to put the same in your reply, and whatever allegations you want to prove from your side you are allowed to mentions those points as well.
