My friend who lives in Dehli borrowed money from me. He ignored me

I paid my friend from April 2021 to November 2022 total above one lakh which he took as he takes in Businsus but till now I have not received anything from Businsus. When I ask him about money, he gives a vague answer. I was hoping till now that I will get the money not today. But on September 24 he took 15000 rupees from me and said he will return it tomorrow. But not yet returned. I am calling him because of financial problem but he is not picking up. I need your advice on what can i do?
you can send them a legal notice first
usually people fear the legal proceedings and then end up paying the amount back and incase they don't you can file a recovery case against them or can also initiate criminal proceedings depending on the facts of your case

Well, if your friend is not returning you the money paid to him by you either as friendly assistance or loan, then, you can file a Police Complaint against him and have to strive hard to get this Complaint converted into FIR, so that, the opposite side negotiate with you to withdraw the case in return of your paid money.
