My friend is not paying my money back and it's almost 2 years now

In July of 2020, I helped my friend in buying a PlayStation for him for which he said he will return the money by Dec of 2020 & then we had an argument & he said things 2 me & won't return it before Feb 2022 & do whatever u want, when I tried contacting him in Dec 2021, it turned out that he blocked me but thankfully I had his elder brother contact & I explained him everything & did agreed that it's true & he will return it before Feb end 2022 but it turns out he was also bluffing & giving me excuses every now & then. I do have sms chats between me and my ex friend where he openly said he will not pay and then in WhatsApp whereby he did acknowledge he's trying to repay the full amount but there's some problem going on in his house which is another lie of his. I also have the contact details of the shop from where I purchased the product for him. But I'm not aware whether the bill was on his or my name but I do have proof that I paid the amt through Gpay with upi transaction details.
