Yes, you can recover your money by filling a money recovery suit. The suit can be instituted under Order IV of the Code of Civil Procedure 1908 (CPC). There is a limitation of 3 years for filing Suits relating to recovery of money and suits under a contract. For precise advice you may contact us.

Who owes you the ₹60 lakh - is it an individual, business partner, or company? 2. Do you have any written proof or documents, like an agreement, cheque, bank transfer record, or messages? 3. When did this transaction or loan happen? 4. Have you already sent any legal notice or complaint, or are you planning to file one now?

You can file a civil recovery suit; however, your documents and other evidence will need to be assessed first. The entire process generally takes around 1–2 years to complete. The court fee is payable based on the total amount you are seeking to recover.

To recover lent money in India, the type of case you file depends on whether the loan was documented (written) or verbal. If the loan was issued via promissory note, and the Debtor is denying to pay, then, you can file either: Civil suit for recovery of debt Case under Negotiable Instruments Act, if dishonored

Well, We can serve a Legal Notice to the opposite party which is not returning your money. If things go well from Legal Notice, well and good, otherwise, you will end up filing a Legal case in Court against the party to whom you have lended the money.
